Despite the war and ongoing challenges, Ukraine is continuing its recovery journey. Side by side with its partners, the country is rebuilding its infrastructure day by day — bringing life back to its cities and villages.

Since 2022, the full-scale Russian invasion has left 2.5 million households in Ukraine in ruins. Every day, civilian infrastructure comes under attack — amplifying the damage and increasing the cost for the country year after year.

Yet against all odds, people are returning home. Together with our partners, we’re creating resilient, safe, and modern infrastructure that is already serving communities. Not just buildings, but spaces where people want to live — ones that are inclusive, sustainable, and accessible.

Light of Home

This art object is more than just a piece of decor. The lamp and planter are made from debris of homes destroyed during Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, showing that even rubble can become the foundation for rebuilding.

The plant growing in the pot symbolizes life emerging through loss and destruction, while the light illuminating a house represents hope for recovery even in the darkest hours.
